Job Description

As the Sr Manager of Lean Continuous Improvement for our Lab Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and excellence in our laboratory processes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader who is passionate about continuous improvement and has a strong background in Lean methodologies. If you are a strategic thinker with a proven track record of implementing successful Lean initiatives, we want you to join our dynamic and innovative team at Natera.

  1. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement within the Lab Operations team, with a focus on Lean methodologies.
  2. Lead and manage a team of Lean experts to drive efficiency and excellence in laboratory processes.
  3. Conduct regular assessments of current processes and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  5. Analyze data and metrics to track progress and measure the impact of Lean initiatives.
  6. Develop and implement training programs to ensure all team members are knowledgeable and skilled in Lean methodologies.
  7. Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and events to engage team members and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and quality.
  9. Communicate progress and results of Lean initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies and make recommendations for process improvements based on these insights.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Lean Continuous Improvement Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies, Such As Six Sigma, Kaizen, And Lean Six Sigma, And How They Can Be Applied To Improve Lab Operations.

  • Strong Background In Laboratory Operations: The Sr Manager Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Laboratory Workflows, Processes, And Equipment, As Well As Experience In Managing A Lab Team And Ensuring Quality And Efficiency In Operations.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Process Improvements: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Identifying Areas For Improvement And Successfully Implementing Process Changes To Drive Efficiency, Reduce Waste, And Improve Overall Performance.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Manager, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Crucial For Effectively Managing A Team And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

  • Experience In Project Management And Change Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Project Management And Change Management, With A Proven Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Projects To Achieve Desired Outcomes And Drive Organizational Change.
