Sr Histology Technologist

Natera is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr Histology Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position is based in our San Carlos, California location. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional knowledge of histology techniques and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in histology or related field and at least 5-7 years of experience in a clinical or research histology laboratory. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in the histology field, as well as have excellent technical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You must have a thorough understanding of safety precautions and technique associated with histology laboratory work. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.In this role, you will be responsible for performing histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting slides. You will also be responsible for performing quality assurance checks, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing technical assistance to other laboratory personnel, and adhering to safety protocols.The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
