  1. Develop and execute the research and development strategy for the Head & Neck Oncology division.
  2. Lead and manage a team of researchers and scientists to drive groundbreaking discoveries and advancements in the field of head and neck cancer.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  4. Provide strategic direction and guidance for preclinical and clinical studies related to head and neck cancer.
  5. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in head and neck oncology, and apply this knowledge to drive innovative solutions.
  6. Identify potential partnerships and collaborations with other organizations to further advance research and development efforts.
  7. Oversee the budget and resources for the Head & Neck Oncology division, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  8. Serve as a key spokesperson for the company in the field of head and neck cancer, representing Natera at conferences and other industry events.
  9. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among team members.
  10. Keep track of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  11. Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of current processes and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Head And Neck Oncology: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience As A Physician Or Researcher In The Field Of Head And Neck Oncology. This Should Include Experience In Managing Complex Cases, Conducting Clinical Trials, And Publishing Research In Peer-Reviewed Journals.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: As A Senior Director, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team. This Includes Experience In Setting Strategic Goals, Managing Budgets, And Driving Team Performance To Achieve Business Objectives.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Molecular Diagnostics: Natera Is A Leading Provider Of Molecular Diagnostic Testing, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of This Field. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Molecular Diagnostic Assays, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Technologies And Platforms.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Director, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Healthcare Providers, Researchers, And Industry Partners. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Presenting At Conferences And Engaging With The Media.

  • Advanced Degree In Medicine Or Related Field: A Medical Degree (Md Or Do) Or A Phd In A Related Field Is Required For This Position. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Be Board-Certified In A Relevant Specialty, Such As Oncology Or Pathology. Additional Certifications Or Training In Molecular Diagnostics Or Clinical Research Would Be Considered A Plus.
