  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to genomic assays.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on genomic techniques and best practices.

  11. Analyze data and generate reports for senior management.
  12. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide scientific expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Genetics, Molecular Biology, Or A Related Field: A Sr Clinical Genomics Scientist Should Possess A Phd Or Equivalent Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Understanding Of Clinical Genomics And Molecular Biology To Contribute To Natera's Research And Development Efforts.

  • Extensive Experience In Clinical Genomics Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Research And Development Role, With A Focus On Clinical Genomics. This Experience Should Include A Strong Background In Next-Generation Sequencing (Ngs) Technologies And Data Analysis.

  • Proficient In Various Genomic Data Analysis Tools: A Sr Clinical Genomics Scientist Should Be Proficient In Using Various Bioinformatics Tools And Software For Genomic Data Analysis. This Includes Experience With Variant Calling, Annotation, And Interpretation Tools, As Well As Familiarity With Databases Such As Ncbi, Ensembl, And Clinvar.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Sr Clinical Genomics Scientist, This Individual Will Be Expected To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams, Present Research Findings, And Lead Projects. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards And Guidelines: Natera Is A Leading Company In The Field Of Clinical Genomics, And As Such, Adheres To Strict Regulatory Standards And Guidelines. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Clinical Genomics Research, Including Clia, Cap, And Fda Guidelines. Experience With Developing And Validating Assays According To These Standards Is Highly Desirable.
