Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Bioinformatician to join our Immuno-Oncology team at Natera. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in bioinformatics and immunology with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They must have a passion for working on complex scientific problems, and be able to communicate effectively to collaborate with teammates and stakeholders.The Senior Bioinformatician will be responsible for developing and optimizing pipelines to analyze large-scale genomic datasets to support our research in Immuno-Oncology. This individual should have experience working with a wide variety of data types, such as high-throughput sequencing, gene expression, and other omics data. They should be comfortable writing custom code and scripts to analyze data and to develop user-friendly web-based tools. The position requires a combination of bioinformatics and immunology skills, and a passion for driving innovative solutions.The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Immunology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field. They should have a proven track record of developing and analyzing bioinformatics pipelines, and consulting on the development of user-friendly web-based tools. Expertise in immunology, high-throughput sequencing, and/or genomics is a plus. In addition to technical capabilities, the candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively and have effective communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize pipelines to analyze large-scale genomic datasets to support research in Immuno-Oncology.
Write custom code and scripts to analyze data and develop user-friendly web-based tools.
Consult on the development of user-friendly web-based tools.
Demonstrate expertise in immunology, high-throughput sequencing, and/or genomics.
Work independently and collaboratively with teammates and stakeholders.
Have effective communication and organization skills.
