  1. Design and implement laboratory informatics systems to support Natera's genetic testing processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand laboratory workflow needs.
  3. Develop and maintain data analysis tools and databases to facilitate data management and analysis.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the laboratory informatics systems.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in laboratory informatics to continually improve Natera's systems.
  6. Train laboratory staff on the use of informatics systems and ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for laboratory informatics processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all laboratory informatics activities.
  9. Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate laboratory informatics systems with other company systems.
  10. Manage and maintain data security and confidentiality for all laboratory informatics systems.
  11. Conduct regular audits and reviews of laboratory informatics systems to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for laboratory informatics, providing guidance and support to team members and other departments.
  13. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new laboratory informatics systems and technologies.
  14. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall laboratory processes and efficiency.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on laboratory informatics projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Laboratory Informatics, Preferably In A High-Throughput Clinical Lab Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Laboratory Information Management Systems (Lims) And Other Laboratory Software Systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Experience In Project Management And Leading Process Improvement Initiatives In A Laboratory Setting.
