  1. Prepare and analyze tissue samples for genetic testing using advanced histology techniques and equipment.
  2. Perform all aspects of histology testing including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and cover slipping.
  3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures and results.
  4. Ensure quality control and compliance with all laboratory regulations and standards.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
  6. Train and mentor junior histology technologists on laboratory procedures and techniques.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in the field of histology.
  8. Monitor inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain smooth laboratory operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Histotechnology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Histology Laboratory, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Ascp Certification As A Histotechnologist (Htl) Or Histotechnician (Ht).

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Histology Procedures, Techniques, And Equipment.

  • Experience With High-Throughput, Automated Histology Systems And Proficiency In Troubleshooting Technical Issues.
