- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the field of oncology.
- Act as a scientific expert and resource for Natera's oncology products, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- Facilitate scientific exchange and education with healthcare professionals through presentations, meetings, and other channels.
- Develop and execute medical affairs strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and competitor activities in the field of oncology.
- Plan and coordinate advisory boards and other scientific events to gather insights and feedback from key opinion leaders.
- Provide scientific support and training to internal teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure a deep understanding of Natera's oncology products.
- Conduct scientific research and analysis to support the development and launch of new oncology products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any potential medical or scientific issues related to Natera's oncology products.
- Represent Natera at scientific conferences and other industry events, building awareness and credibility for the company and its products.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to medical affairs and scientific communication.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Natera, promoting its values and mission in the field of oncology.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and activities with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Continuously monitor and report on the impact and effectiveness of medical affairs strategies and initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior members of the medical affairs team, as needed.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Discipline Such As Biology, Genetics, Or Oncology Is Often Required For This Position. A Phd Or Md Degree May Also Be Preferred.
Extensive Knowledge Of Oncology And Molecular Diagnostics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Current Landscape Of Oncology Treatment And Diagnostic Technologies, As Well As Experience In The Field Of Molecular Diagnostics.
Previous Experience In A Medical Science Liaison Role: This Position Requires A Candidate With Previous Experience In A Medical Science Liaison Role, Preferably In The Field Of Oncology. This Experience Should Include Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders, Providing Medical And Scientific Education, And Presenting Clinical Data.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Regional Medical Science Liaison Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Effectively Communicating Complex Scientific Information To A Variety Of Audiences, Including Healthcare Professionals, Researchers, And Sales Teams.
