As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of Denials and Appeals.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the denials and appeals process for all insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing denials and appeals.   1. Develop and implement effective strategies for managing denials and appeals, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and lead a team of denials and appeals specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Review and analyze insurance claims to identify trends and patterns in denials and appeals, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including billing, coding, and customer service, to identify and resolve issues related to denials and appeals.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate submission of appeals, including gathering and organizing all necessary documentation.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and guidelines related to denials and appeals.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers and other stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution of denials and appeals.
  8. Monitor and track denials and appeals metrics and report on trends, outcomes, and performance to senior management.
  9. Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to denials and appeals.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on denials and appeals, providing guidance and support to colleagues and other departments as needed.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings related to the denials and appeals process.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of denials and appeals, including tracking and reporting on revenue recovery.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among team members.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, related to denials and appeals.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times, reflecting the company's values and commitment to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Foundation In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Manager, Denials And Appeals At Natera. This Will Provide A Solid Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Its Regulations.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management: Natera Is Looking For A Candidate With A Proven Track Record In Managing Denials And Appeals In The Healthcare Revenue Cycle. A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In This Area Is Required To Ensure A Thorough Understanding Of The Processes Involved.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: As A Manager, Denials And Appeals At Natera, It Is Crucial To Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance. This Includes Knowledge Of Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid Guidelines, As Well As Any Other Relevant Laws And Regulations.
