Develop and maintain software solutions for the Assay Management team at Natera.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and implement efficient and scalable software systems that support genetic testing processes.
Lead a team of software engineers to design, code, and test new features and enhancements.
Ensure the quality and reliability of software through thorough testing and debugging.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills.
Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and software development processes.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate software solutions into the larger Natera technology ecosystem.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.
Act as a subject matter expert on software engineering and genetic testing technology.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Software Development, With At Least 2 Years In A Lead Or Management Role.
Strong Expertise In Assay Management Systems And Laboratory Information Management Systems (Lims).
Excellent Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And Sql.
Proven Experience In Leading Software Development Teams, Setting Technical Direction, And Delivering High-Quality Software Products On Time.
