- Perform histology techniques and procedures, such as tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting, to produce high-quality tissue slides for analysis.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Adhere to strict quality control and assurance measures to ensure accuracy and precision in all procedures.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for sample handling, labeling, and storage to maintain sample integrity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and results.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies to ensure adequate levels for ongoing operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and participation in relevant workshops and conferences.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver accurate and timely results.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Bachelor's Degree In Histotechnology Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Histotechnician (Ht) Or Histotechnologist (Htl) From Ascp.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Histology Laboratory.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Histological Techniques, Including Tissue Processing, Embedding, Sectioning, And Staining.
Familiarity With Quality Control And Assurance Processes In A Laboratory Setting.
