  • Develop and execute a comprehensive government affairs strategy to advocate for Natera's interests and influence healthcare policies and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze proposed legislation, regulations, and policy changes that may impact Natera and its products
  • Build and maintain relationships with legislators, government officials, and industry stakeholders to effectively represent Natera's position on key issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the impact of government policies and regulations on Natera's business operations and provide recommendations for action
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive messaging and materials to effectively communicate Natera's position and influence decision-makers
  • Represent Natera at industry meetings, conferences, and other relevant events to stay informed on current issues and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare trends, developments, and best practices to inform Natera's government affairs strategy
  • Identify opportunities for Natera to engage in the legislative process, including providing testimony and participating in hearings
  • Build and maintain a strong network of external partners and consultants to support Natera's government affairs efforts
  • Track and report on legislative and regulatory activities and their potential impact on Natera's business
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements related to government affairs activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Political Science, Government Relations, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Government Affairs Or Public Policy, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Government Processes And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Government Officials And Stakeholders

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Advocating For Policy Changes And Influencing Government Decision-Making Processes.
