- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes and updates in regulatory laws and guidelines related to genetic testing and diagnostics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, and Quality to ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulatory agencies.
- Provide guidance and support to the organization on regulatory requirements and processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to facilitate efficient and timely approvals.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure risk management processes are in place.
- Manage and oversee all regulatory submissions, including pre-market approvals, 510(k) applications, and other regulatory filings.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including product registrations, labeling, and advertising materials.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Lead and mentor a team of regulatory affairs professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and ensure timely and effective responses to any observations or findings.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to regulatory affairs processes.
- Assess and communicate potential regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and adhere to ethical standards.
Advanced Degree In A Related Field: A Director Of Regulatory Affairs At Natera Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Or Regulatory Affairs. A Higher Degree, Such As A Master's Or Phd, Is Preferred.
Extensive Experience In Regulatory Affairs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Hands-On Experience In Regulatory Affairs, Preferably In The Biotechnology Or Pharmaceutical Industry. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines, As Well As Experience In Submitting And Obtaining Regulatory Approvals.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Director Of Regulatory Affairs At Natera Must Have Excellent Leadership Abilities, As They Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Regulatory Professionals. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Developing A Team And Be Able To Provide Direction And Guidance In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
Knowledge Of International Regulatory Requirements: Natera Is A Global Company, And The Director Of Regulatory Affairs Should Have A Strong Understanding Of International Regulatory Requirements, Including Those In Europe, Asia, And Other Key Markets. Experience In Obtaining International Regulatory Approvals Is Highly Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Director Of Regulatory Affairs Will Be The Main Point Of Contact For Regulatory Agencies, Internal Teams, And External Partners.
