Perform DNA extractions from various biological samples according to established protocols and standard operating procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all extractions and sample information.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the extraction process.
Monitor and maintain inventory of extraction reagents and supplies.
Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to optimize extraction processes and ensure efficient workflow.
Communicate any deviations or discrepancies in extraction results to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in the validation and implementation of new extraction methods and technologies.
Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines for patient privacy and confidentiality.
Continuously strive to improve extraction techniques and processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Train and mentor new laboratory personnel on extraction procedures and protocols.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.
Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Extraction And Purification Of Dna/Rna.
Proficiency In A Variety Of Laboratory Techniques, Including Sample Handling, Dna/Rna Extraction Techniques, And Laboratory Equipment Operation.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Strict Protocols And Procedures To Ensure Accurate And Reliable Results.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate With Other Laboratory Staff And Effectively Communicate Results To Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.
