Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field: A Clinical Laboratory Operator At Natera Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Laboratory Techniques And Procedures.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt): Natera Requires Its Clinical Laboratory Operators To Be Certified As Mls Or Mt By Recognized Organizations Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Credentialing Agency For Laboratory Personnel (Nca).
Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting: Natera Prefers Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory, Preferably In A High-Volume Testing Environment. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle Various Laboratory Tasks Efficiently And Accurately.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations And Quality Control Standards: Natera's Clinical Laboratory Operators Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Laboratory Regulations And Quality Control Standards Set By Organizations Such As The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (Clia) And The College Of American Pathologists (Cap).
