Accurately code and process clinical data in a timely manner.
Adhere to industry regulations and standards in coding and data processing.

Job Qualifications

Proficiency In Medical Coding: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Coding Systems, Such As Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs, And Be Able To Accurately Assign Codes To Medical Procedures And Diagnoses.
Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr): The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Electronic Health Records And Be Comfortable Navigating And Extracting Data From Ehr Systems.
Knowledge Of Clinical Terminology: Familiarity With Medical Terminology And An Understanding Of Disease Processes And Treatments Is Essential For Accurately Coding And Organizing Clinical Data.
Attention To Detail: As A Clinical Data Coder, Accuracy Is Key. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Errors Or Inconsistencies In Medical Records.
Certification In Medical Coding: Preferred Qualifications For This Position May Include Certification From A Recognized Coding Organization, Such As The American Academy Of Professional Coders (Aapc) Or The American Health Information Management Association (Ahima). This Demonstrates A Level Of Expertise And Dedication To The Field Of Medical Coding.
