As a Clinical Assistant I / Revenue Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of revenue claims, while also providing support to our clinical team. Process revenue claims accurately and in a timely manner to ensure timely reimbursement for services provided.
Utilize clinical skills and knowledge to ensure proper coding and documentation on revenue claims.
Collaborate with clinical team to gather necessary information for revenue claims processing.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue claims.
Communicate with insurance companies and other third parties to resolve any issues or discrepancies in revenue claims.
Follow all company and industry regulations and guidelines for revenue claims processing.
Provide support to the clinical team by assisting with administrative tasks and patient communications.
Keep up-to-date on changes to coding and billing regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.
Continuously strive to improve revenue claims processing efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient revenue claims processing.
Complete any other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications

Previous Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting: A Clinical Assistant I / Revenue Claims Specialist At Natera Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Or Healthcare Environment. This Experience Will Provide Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Billing And Coding Processes, And Patient Care.
Knowledge Of Medical Billing And Coding: The Role Of A Revenue Claims Specialist Involves Managing And Processing Medical Claims, So A Strong Understanding Of Medical Billing And Coding Procedures Is Essential. Candidates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Icd-10 And Cpt Coding, As Well As Experience With Insurance Claim Submission And Follow-Up.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In Medical Billing And Coding, As Even Minor Errors Can Result In Claim Denials Or Delays. A Successful Candidate Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Perform Tasks With A High Level Of Accuracy.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Clinical Assistant I / Revenue Claims Specialist, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Insurance Companies, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential.
