Conduct thorough review and analysis of genetic testing data to identify and annotate variants.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of genetic testing results.
Utilize knowledge of genetics and disease mechanisms to interpret variant significance and clinical relevance.
Stay up-to-date on current research and industry developments in genetics and genomics.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of variant curation process and decisions.
Participate in quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of genetic testing results.
Communicate findings and recommendations to team members and other relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with laboratory personnel to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with variant data.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new variant curation processes and protocols.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Genetics, Or Molecular Biology.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Or Research Setting, Preferably In Variant Curation.
Familiarity With Variant Databases And Annotation Tools, Such As Clinvar And Varsome.
Strong Understanding Of Genetic Testing And Molecular Techniques.
Excellent Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Accurately And Efficiently Curate Large Amounts Of Data.
