  1. Develop and implement financial strategies and policies in line with NASA's mission and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage all budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities for the organization.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial goals with overall organizational goals.
  5. Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to financial management and reporting.
  7. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the highest level of quality and performance.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including government agencies and private sector organizations.
  9. Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management and external stakeholders.
  10. Proactively identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial management and incorporate them into NASA's operations.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the financial team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Represent NASA and the financial function in meetings, conferences, and other events.
  14. Support the Chief Financial Officer in any other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Financial Management, Preferably In A Government Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Government Budgeting And Accounting Regulations.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Strategic Financial Planning, Risk Management, And Financial Analysis.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
