As a Well-being Clinician, you will play a vital role in promoting and educating individuals on the importance of self-care and mental health.   1. Conduct individual and group sessions with patients to educate them on the importance of self-care and mental health.
  2. Develop and implement educational programs and workshops related to well-being and mental health.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
  4. Conduct assessments and screenings to identify potential mental health concerns and refer patients to appropriate resources.
  5. Provide guidance and support to patients in managing stress, improving self-esteem, and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
  6. Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of well-being and mental health to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
  8. Build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with patients to create a safe and supportive environment for their well-being.
  9. Utilize effective communication skills to educate and empower patients to take control of their mental and physical health.
  10. Participate in team meetings and trainings to collaborate with colleagues and continuously improve the delivery of care.
  11. Serve as a resource for patients and community members to provide information and referrals to other resources and services.
  12. Adhere to ethical and professional standards and guidelines in all interactions with patients, team members, and the community.
  13. Continuously evaluate and modify educational programs and interventions to meet the changing needs of patients and the community.
  14. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting a holistic approach to healthcare and well-being.
  15. Embrace and promote the mission and values of MUSC Health in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Public Health, Health Education, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Health Education, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.

  • Certification In Health Education, Such As Ches (Certified Health Education Specialist) Or Mches (Master Certified Health Education Specialist).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Health Education Theories, Techniques, And Resources.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
