  1. Develop and oversee the financial strategy and operations for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department at MUSC Health.
  2. Collaborate with department leaders to establish and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
  3. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  4. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators to the department and organizational leadership.

  • Advanced Degree In Finance Or Business Administration: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Master's Degree Or Higher In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management And Operations.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Academic Setting: The Position Of Vice Chair For Finance And Administration Requires A Thorough Understanding Of The Unique Financial Challenges And Regulations Within The Healthcare Industry. Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting Would Be Highly Beneficial.
