- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct vehicles to available parking spots and provide instructions for parking procedures.
- Monitor parking lot to ensure compliance with parking regulations and policies.
- Collect parking fees and issue parking permits as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of parking fees collected and permits issued.
- Assist with resolving any parking-related issues or conflicts.
- Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in the parking lot.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals utilizing the parking lot.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any changes or updates in parking policies or procedures.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on parking policies and procedures.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols while working in the parking lot.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient parking operations.
- Assist with special events or high volume parking days as needed.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Skills To Perform Basic Tasks Such As Record-Keeping And Communication.
Customer Service Skills: As A Parking Lot Attendant, The Individual Will Be Interacting With A Diverse Group Of People On A Daily Basis. It Is Important That They Possess Strong Customer Service Skills, Such As Communication, Problem-Solving, And Conflict Resolution, To Ensure A Positive Experience For All Visitors To The Parking Lot.
Experience In Parking Management: Prior Experience Working In A Parking Management Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Would Be Beneficial For This Position. This Would Demonstrate An Understanding Of Parking Lot Procedures, Traffic Flow Management, And Safety Protocols.
Attention To Detail: A Parking Lot Attendant Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Accurately Record And Document Information Such As Parking Permits, Fees, And Violations. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Efficiency In The Parking Management System.
Physical Ability: This Job May Require The Individual To Stand, Walk, And Lift For Extended Periods Of Time. Therefore, It Is Important For The Candidate To Have The Physical Ability To Perform These Tasks Comfortably And Safely. This May Also Include The Ability To Operate A Variety Of Parking Equipment, Such As Ticket Machines And Barriers.
