Welcome to the Office of Parking Management at MUSC Health! We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented Parking Lot Attendant to join our team. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients, visitors, and employees have a positive parking experience at MUSC Health.   1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and employees to the parking lot in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Monitor and control traffic flow within the parking lot, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  3. Assist with directing drivers to available parking spaces and providing guidance on parking procedures.
  4. Collect parking fees and issue tickets as necessary.
  5. Maintain accurate records of parking lot capacity and available spaces.
  6. Enforce parking rules and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain order in the parking lot.
  7. Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and complaints.
  8. Assist with maintenance and cleanliness of the parking lot, including trash removal and snow/ice removal.
  9. Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  10. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on parking policies and procedures.
  11. Continuously strive to improve the parking experience for all customers.
  12. Report any issues or concerns to superiors in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
  14. Adhere to strict attendance and punctuality standards.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing MUSC Health and the Office of Parking Management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Previous Experience In Parking Management: Prior Experience Working As A Parking Lot Attendant Or In A Similar Role Is Preferred. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Good Understanding Of Parking Regulations And Procedures.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Parking Lot Attendant, The Candidate Will Interact With A Large Number Of Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential To Ensure A Positive Experience For All Visitors.

  • Knowledge Of Parking Lot Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Parking Lot Equipment Such As Ticket Machines, Payment Systems, And Barrier Gates. This Will Help In Troubleshooting Any Technical Issues That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: The Job May Require The Candidate To Work On Weekends, Evenings, And Holidays. Therefore, Flexibility In Work Hours Is Necessary To Ensure Proper Coverage Of The Parking Lot At All Times.
