  1. Provide exceptional patient care in the Neurosurgery Department at our NSICU.
  2. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assess and monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  7. Stay updated on advancements and developments in the field of neurosurgery.
  8. Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
  12. Mentor and train junior staff members.
  13. Attend meetings and conferences related to neurosurgery.
  14. Contribute to the growth and success of the department through active participation in departmental activities.

Job Qualifications

  • Medical Degree: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited University, Along With A Valid Medical License.

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified Or Eligible For Certification In Neurosurgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: Candidates Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Neurosurgery And A Fellowship In Neurocritical Care Or Neurosurgical Critical Care.

  • Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Neurosurgery, With A Focus On Neurocritical Care.

  • Commitment To Research And Education: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Participating In Research And A Strong Commitment To Teaching And Mentoring Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows.
