- Provide exceptional patient care in the Neurosurgery Department at our NSICU.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Assess and monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Stay updated on advancements and developments in the field of neurosurgery.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.
- Attend meetings and conferences related to neurosurgery.

- Adhere to all MUSC Health policies and procedures.
Medical Degree: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited University, Along With A Valid Medical License.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified Or Eligible For Certification In Neurosurgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery.
Residency And Fellowship Training: Candidates Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Neurosurgery And A Fellowship In Neurocritical Care Or Neurosurgical Critical Care.
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Neurosurgery, With A Focus On Neurocritical Care.
Commitment To Research And Education: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Participating In Research And A Strong Commitment To Teaching And Mentoring Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows.
