
UNIV-Equipment Operator II-Recycling

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, and balers to transport and process recyclable materials.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment by conducting routine maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Reading, Writing, And Math Skills Necessary For The Job.
Valid Driver's License: As An Equipment Operator, The Candidate Will Be Required To Operate Vehicles And Equipment For Recycling Purposes. A Valid Driver's License Is Necessary To Ensure The Safe And Efficient Operation Of These Vehicles.
Experience In Equipment Operation: The Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Forklifts, Balers, And Compactors. This Experience Will Ensure The Candidate Is Familiar With The Equipment Used In Recycling Operations.
Knowledge Of Recycling Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Recycling Processes, Including Sorting, Baling, And Compacting. This Knowledge Will Help The Candidate Perform Their Duties Effectively And Efficiently.
Physical Fitness: This Position May Involve Heavy Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Long Periods. Therefore, The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Safely And Without Limitations. A Pre-Employment Physical May Be Required To Ensure The Candidate Is Physically Capable Of Performing The Job Duties.
