- Provide patient-centered care to individuals and families within the UNIV-DNP program at the College of Nursing.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and prescribe appropriate medications under the supervision of a physician.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
- Conduct research activities to contribute to the advancement of healthcare and evidence-based practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with the latest advancements and developments in the field of family nursing.

Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree: The Ideal Candidate For The Univ-Dnp Program, Family Nurse Practitioner-College Of Nursing Position At Musc Health Should Possess A Dnp Degree From An Accredited University. This Degree Provides The Necessary Advanced Knowledge And Skills To Excel In The Role Of A Family Nurse Practitioner.
Current Rn Licensure: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of South Carolina. This Is A Mandatory Requirement For Practicing As A Nurse Practitioner In The State.
Certification As A Family Nurse Practitioner: The Candidate Should Hold A Current Certification As A Family Nurse Practitioner (Fnp) From A Recognized Certifying Body Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).
Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse. Experience In Primary Care, Pediatrics, Or Family Practice Settings Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Univ-Dnp Program Curriculum: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Curriculum And Requirements Of The Univ-Dnp Program. Familiarity With The Program's Goals, Objectives, And Teaching Methods Will Be Beneficial In Delivering Quality Education To Students.
