  1. Review and process financial aid applications for students, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  2. Assist students in completing financial aid forms and understanding the financial aid process, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Evaluate financial aid eligibility and make adjustments based on changes in income or other circumstances.
  4. Stay up-to-date on changes in financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient processing of aid.
  5. Communicate with students and their families regarding financial aid awards, requirements, and deadlines.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to students and their families, addressing any concerns or questions related to financial aid.
  8. Maintain accurate records and data related to financial aid processing and disbursement.
  9. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial aid eligibility or disbursement.
  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to financial aid.
  11. Advocate for students and their financial needs, working to secure additional funding or resources when necessary.
  12. Collaborate with the admissions team to recruit and retain students by promoting financial aid opportunities and resources.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
  14. Support the overall mission and goals of MUSC Health by providing exceptional service and support to students and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Experience Working In A Financial Aid Office Or Related Role.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Programs.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Assist Students And Families With Financial Aid Processes.
