- Perform sterilization procedures: The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical equipment and instruments to ensure they are safe for use in procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness standards: It is the responsibility of the Sterile Processing Technician to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the sterilization area and ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Follow safety protocols: The technician must strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent any potential hazards or contamination during the sterilization process.
- Inspect and maintain equipment: The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining all sterilization equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare and assemble equipment: The technician will be responsible for preparing and assembling the necessary equipment and instruments for medical procedures according to the specifications provided.
- Monitor inventory levels: It is the responsibility of the technician to monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Certified Sterile Processing Technician (Cspdt) Or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Certification.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Sterile Processing, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Infection Control Principles And Practices, Including Sterilization Techniques And Equipment.
Familiarity With Surgical Instruments And Medical Equipment Used In Various Procedures.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
