Welcome to the team at MUSC Health! We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Women's Assistant Nurse Manager to join our SJCH Pearl Tourville Women's Division. Our division is dedicated to providing exceptional care to women of all ages, from adolescence to post-menopause. As the Women's Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our nursing staff to deliver high-quality and compassionate care to our patients.   1. Lead and support the nursing staff in the SJCH Pearl Tourville Women's Division.
  2. Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  3. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures specific to women's health.
  4. Provide guidance and mentorship to the nursing staff, promoting their professional development.
  5. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values teamwork and open communication.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff, providing constructive feedback and addressing any performance issues.
  7. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  9. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve the division's overall performance.
  10. Stay informed about current trends and advancements in women's health, and implement best practices to enhance patient care.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and divisions within the hospital to ensure a seamless and coordinated patient experience.
  12. Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and management, communicating any concerns or suggestions for improvement.
  13. Ensure that all equipment and supplies in the division are properly maintained and stocked.
  14. Stay updated on all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to women's health and ensure compliance.
  15. Create and maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  16. Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new nursing staff.
  17. Act as a role model for the nursing staff, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
  18. Handle any patient or staff complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  19. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to create and manage the division's budget.
  20. Embrace and promote the mission and values of MUSC Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices In Women's Health.
