Registered Nurse - Vascular Access

You must also possess knowledge of venous and arterial access, and demonstrate excellent technical, clinical, and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care, including listening to patients' concerns and responding in a compassionate manner.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and standards.
3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and document accordingly.
4. Assist with the insertion, maintenance, and removal of vascular access devices.
5. Educate patients and families about vascular access procedures and potential risks.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
7. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and treat patient conditions.
8. Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
9. Ensure the accuracy of all orders, prescriptions, and treatments.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
