1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
2. Utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
5. Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to treatments.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
9. Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
11. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
