- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the critical care unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' condition and respond to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse Ii-Health-Critical Care At Musc Health Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory, Clinical Skills, And Evidence-Based Practice.
Active Rn License: Candidates Must Hold A Current, Active Rn License In The State Of South Carolina. This Ensures That They Have Met All State Requirements And Are Legally Able To Practice As A Nurse.
Critical Care Experience: Musc Health Is Seeking Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting, With A Focus On Critical Care. This Experience Prepares Nurses To Handle High-Pressure Situations And Complex Patient Needs.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Position. These Certifications Demonstrate A Nurse's Ability To Respond To Cardiac Emergencies And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Part Of The Critical Care Team, A Registered Nurse Ii-Health-Critical Care Must Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
