  1. Provide exceptional care to patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at MUSC Health.
  2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the healthcare team.
  7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  8. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Utilize cutting-edge technologies and treatments to provide the highest quality care.
  11. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  14. Mentor and support new graduate nurses through training and orientation.
  15. Embody the mission and values of MUSC Health in all aspects of job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of South Carolina

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification

  • Clinical Experience In A Critical Care Setting, Preferably In A Neuro Icu

  • Strong Clinical Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
