Job Description

The ideal candidate should possess a passion for helping others, strong clinical and communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.The Registered Nurse – Hemapheresis will provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals requiring Hemapheresis and related services and will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient care.The successful candidate will have a current license as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina, a minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Hemapheresis, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care. Additionally, the candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, demonstrate knowledge of current nursing theory and practice, and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals requiring Hemapheresis and related services.
  2. Ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  3. Maintain current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of current nursing theory and practice.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  6. Maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and families.
  7. Assess patient needs and develop individualized patient care plans.
  8. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  9. Monitor and document patient's progress.
  10. Provide education and support to patients and families.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing

  • Current South Carolina Nursing License

  • At Least One Year Of Experience In Clinical Nursing With A Concentration In Hemapheresis

  • Working Knowledge Of Hemapheresis And Related Clinical Practices

  • Ability To Perform Phlebotomy

  • Certification In Bls (Basic Life Support) And Acls (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • Knowledge Of Hospital
