
Radiation Therapy Technologist

Additionally, they must have knowledge of radiation safety and related treatment techniques, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to operate sophisticated radiation therapy equipment. Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols.
- Monitor and record patient’s reactions to treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and patient responses.
- Perform safety checks on radiation therapy equipment and related machinery.
- Provide instruction and support for patients and family members regarding radiation therapy treatments.
- Maintain knowledge of current radiation safety and related treatment techniques.
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay knowledgeable of changes in radiation therapy treatments and technology.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
