As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient access and experience, while also collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and procedures.   1. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access to MUSC Health services.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and procedures related to patient access.
  3. Monitor and analyze patient access data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  4. Train and educate staff on patient access processes and procedures.
  5. Serve as a liaison between patients and MUSC Health, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for patients.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families to address any concerns or issues related to patient access.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to patient access.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance patient access initiatives.
  9. Coordinate with billing and insurance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient information.
  10. Create and maintain reports on patient access metrics and present findings to leadership.
  11. Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
  12. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to patient access.
  13. Develop and manage a team of patient access specialists to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote patient access services.
  15. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement organization-wide initiatives related to patient access.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Management And Patient Access Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Patient Access Processes And Regulations, Including Insurance Verification, Pre-Authorization, And Financial Assistance Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Patients, Physicians, And Insurance Companies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Implementing Projects, With The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Areas For Improvement, And Develop And Implement Effective Solutions.
