
Program Coordinator - Psychiatry: Brain Stimulation Laboratory

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of research studies and clinical trials being conducted in the Brain Stimulation Laboratory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the research and treatment process.
- Collect and organize data, including patient demographics, medical histories, and research findings.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to develop and implement research protocols and study procedures.
- Communicate with study participants and their families to ensure understanding of study procedures and any necessary follow-up appointments.
- Assist in the recruitment and screening of potential study participants.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all study procedures and participant information.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents and reports to governing bodies.
- Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of psychiatry and brain stimulation, and make recommendations for incorporating new techniques and procedures into the laboratory's research and treatment protocols.
- Manage the laboratory's budget and ensure all expenses are accounted for and properly allocated.
- Regularly communicate with the laboratory director and other team members regarding project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Assist with manuscript preparation and submission for publication in scientific journals.
- Attend conferences and workshops to present research findings and stay informed on industry developments.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide support and mentorship to interns, volunteers, and other team members as needed.
Education And Training In Psychology Or Psychiatry: A Strong Foundation In The Field Of Psychology Or Psychiatry Is Essential For A Program Coordinator In A Brain Stimulation Laboratory. This Could Include A Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Experience In Research And Data Analysis: The Program Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Managing And Organizing Data Collected From Research Studies In The Brain Stimulation Laboratory. Therefore, Experience In Research Methods And Data Analysis Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
Knowledge Of Brain Stimulation Techniques: The Program Coordinator Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Different Brain Stimulation Techniques, Such As Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Tms) And Electroconvulsive Therapy (Ect).
