  1. Develop and implement programs and services within the library to support the needs of patients, staff, and visitors.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to identify and assess the library needs of the institution.
  3. Manage and supervise all aspects of library program development and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and services and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to enhance library services.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in library sciences and incorporate them into program and service development.
  7. Train and supervise library staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  8. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on program developments and solicit feedback.
  9. Conduct research and gather data to support the development and evaluation of library programs and services.
  10. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all library activities.
  11. Maintain accurate records and reports on program activities, budget expenditures, and other relevant information.
  12. Attend meetings and participate in committees related to library services and programs.
  13. Represent the library department at institutional events and external conferences or workshops.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to promote library services and programs to the community.
  15. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Library Director.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Library Science, Information Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Library Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills To Effectively Coordinate And Oversee Multiple Programs And Events.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work With Diverse Groups, Including Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Community Members.

  • Knowledge Of Library Technology And Information Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Database Management.
