We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Manager for our Medical Center Pharmacy (MCP). As a Practice Manager at MUSC Health, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of MCP, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Center Pharmacy (MCP) at MUSC Health.
  2. Ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care by overseeing the work of pharmacy staff.
  3. Maintain a positive and efficient work environment for all employees at MCP.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of MCP.
  5. Monitor and manage the budget for MCP, including tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
  7. Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing training and development.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing waste.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to MCP operations.
  11. Handle patient and staff concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of MCP facilities and equipment.
  13. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within MCP.
  14. Serve as a role model and leader for the pharmacy team, promoting a strong work ethic and dedication to patient care.
  15. Represent the MCP and MUSC Health in a positive and professional manner to patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Practice Operations, Including Scheduling, Billing, And Compliance.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
