- Conduct independent and collaborative research in the areas of pharmacology and immunology.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate drug efficacy and immune response.
- Analyze and interpret data, and present findings to the research team.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
- Participate in laboratory meetings, seminars, and conferences to share and discuss research findings.
- Keep up-to-date with current literature and advancements in the field.
- Mentor and train graduate and undergraduate students in laboratory techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve experimental issues.
- Actively contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Department of Pharmacology and Immunology.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge through attending workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
- Represent MUSC Health and the Department of Pharmacology and Immunology at scientific conferences and meetings.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, collaborators, and sponsors.
A Completed Doctoral Degree In Pharmacology Or Immunology From An Accredited Institution.
Proven Research Experience In The Fields Of Pharmacology And Immunology, As Evidenced By Publications And Presentations At Conferences.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Design And Execute Experiments And Interpret Results Effectively.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Collaborate With Colleagues And Present Research Findings.
Prior Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, With Knowledge Of Laboratory Techniques And Procedures, As Well As Safety Protocols.
