Doctoral Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree Is Required For A Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Faculty Position At Musc Health.
Board Certification: Candidates Should Be Board Certified In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation By The American Board Of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (Abpmr) Or Equivalent Board.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Is Required, With A Focus On Treating Patients With A Wide Range Of Musculoskeletal And Neuromuscular Conditions.
Research Experience: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Research, With A Track Record Of Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals And Involvement In Research Projects Related To Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation.
Teaching Experience: Previous Experience Teaching Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows Is Preferred. Candidates Should Have Strong Communication And Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Educate And Mentor Students And Trainees In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation.
