  1. Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs for pharmacy staff at MUSC Health.
  2. Evaluate and assess the educational needs of pharmacy staff and create tailored training plans to address any knowledge gaps.
  3. Provide mentorship and guidance to pharmacy staff, including new hires and current employees seeking career development opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with other pharmacy leaders and healthcare professionals to ensure alignment of educational programs with organizational goals and industry standards.
  5. Utilize various teaching methods, such as presentations, workshops, and online modules, to deliver educational content.
  6. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of pharmacy to continuously improve the educational programs offered.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as universities and professional organizations, to support ongoing education and training opportunities.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through data analysis and feedback from participants.
  9. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new pharmacy staff, ensuring a strong focus on education and development.
  10. Serve as a role model and advocate for the importance of ongoing education and professional growth within the pharmacy department.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify cross-training opportunities and promote interdisciplinary learning.
  12. Maintain accurate records of training and development activities for reporting purposes.
  13. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards related to pharmacy education and training.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the educational experience for pharmacy staff at MUSC Health.

  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Pharmd Degree Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Pharmacy Professional Development Pharmacist - Educator At Musc Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Comprehensive Understanding Of Medications, Patient Care, And The Healthcare System.

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of South Carolina: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Valid Pharmacist License In The State Of South Carolina. This Ensures That They Are Legally Eligible To Practice Pharmacy And Can Provide Education And Training To Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Pharmacist: Musc Health Requires Candidates To Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Pharmacist.
