  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Inpatient Pharmacy department, including staffing, budget management, and inventory control.
  2. Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  3. Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication management plans for patients.
  6. Monitor and analyze pharmacy data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments, new medications, and best practices to provide the highest level of care to patients.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations for pharmacy staff and provide feedback and coaching to support their professional growth.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other departments within the organization, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution And A Current Pharmacist License In The State Of South Carolina.

  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Inpatient Pharmacy Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Or Leadership Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing, Inventory Management, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians.

  • Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr) And Pharmacy Software Systems, As Well As A Commitment To Staying Current With Industry Advancements And Best Practices.
