
Pharmacy Manager - Inpatient Pharmacy

- Oversee the daily operations of the Inpatient Pharmacy department, including staffing, budget management, and inventory control.
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication management plans for patients.
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new medications, and best practices to provide the highest level of care to patients.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for pharmacy staff and provide feedback and coaching to support their professional growth.
- Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other departments within the organization, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution And A Current Pharmacist License In The State Of South Carolina.
A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Inpatient Pharmacy Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Or Leadership Role.
Extensive Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing, Inventory Management, And Regulatory Compliance.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians.
Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr) And Pharmacy Software Systems, As Well As A Commitment To Staying Current With Industry Advancements And Best Practices.
