- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
- Assist with daily patient care activities, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene and mobility.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality and personalized care to patients.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Tech Ii At Musc Health Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Position.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Equivalent Certification: To Be Eligible For A Patient Care Tech Ii Position, Candidates Must Hold A Valid Cna Certification Or An Equivalent Certification Recognized By Musc Health.
Prior Experience In A Critical Care Or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (Cicu): Candidates Must Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Critical Care Or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit To Be Considered For A Patient Care Tech Ii Position.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: All Patient Care Tech Ii Candidates Must Possess A Valid Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or An Equivalent Organization.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Patient Care Tech Ii Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment. Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work As Part Of A Team Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
