Patient Access Representative

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at MUSC Health. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, and you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients upon arrival and ensure they are comfortable throughout their visit.
2. Verify and collect patient information, including insurance coverage and medical history.
3. Schedule appointments and answer patient inquiries regarding services and procedures.
4. Process payments and complete paperwork related to patient registration.
5. Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Advocate for patients, ensuring they have access to the best possible care.
7. Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
8. Utilize computer systems to enter and retrieve patient information.
9. Ensure accuracy of all patient data collected.
10. Follow up with patients after their visit to ensure their satisfaction.
