Patient Access Rep 1

1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to MUSC Health in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues.
3. Conduct patient registration and verify insurance information accurately and efficiently.
4. Schedule appointments and collect copayments and other payments from patients.
5. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.
6. Accurately enter patient information into electronic medical records.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication.
8. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the patient waiting area.
10. Stay updated on MUSC Health policies and procedures to effectively assist patients and visitors.
11. Attend training and development sessions to continuously improve customer service skills and knowledge.
12. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
13. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
14. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
