Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Orthopaedic Surgery: A Qualified Orthopaedic Oncologist At Musc Health Should Have Completed An Accredited Residency Program In Orthopaedic Surgery And Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship Training In Musculoskeletal Oncology: Musc Health Requires Candidates To Have Completed A Fellowship Program In Musculoskeletal Oncology, Demonstrating Specialized Training And Expertise In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Cancerous And Benign Tumors Of The Musculoskeletal System.

  • Extensive Experience In Orthopaedic Oncology: Applicants Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Orthopaedic Oncology, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Treating Patients With A Variety Of Musculoskeletal Tumors.

  • Strong Surgical Skills: The Ideal Candidate For An Orthopaedic Oncologist Position At Musc Health Should Possess Advanced Surgical Skills And Experience In Complex Orthopaedic Procedures, Including Limb-Sparing Surgeries, Joint Reconstructions, And Bone And Soft Tissue Reconstructions.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities: Musc Health Values Effective Communication And Collaboration Among Its Medical Staff. A Successful Orthopaedic Oncologist Should Be Able To Work Well In A Multidisciplinary Team And Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Colleagues, And Support Staff.
