- Provide top-quality care to pediatric patients with ophthalmic conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative care.
- Assist in the management and treatment of complex and rare ophthalmic conditions in pediatric patients under the guidance of attending physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient care, including progress notes, procedures performed, and test results.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with the latest advancements and developments in the field of pediatric ophthalmology through attending conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service.

- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to patient care and confidentiality.
Medical Degree: The Candidate Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Residency In Ophthalmology: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Ophthalmology, Preferably At A Reputable Institution. This Will Ensure That They Have A Strong Foundation In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Eye Diseases.
Fellowship In Pediatric Ophthalmology: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Fellowship Program In Pediatric Ophthalmology, With A Focus On The Medical And Surgical Treatment Of Eye Conditions In Children. This Will Provide Them With Specialized Knowledge And Skills In This Subfield.
Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified Or Eligible For Certification By The American Board Of Ophthalmology. This Indicates That They Have Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The Board And Have Demonstrated Expertise In Their Field.
Experience With Children: The Candidate Must Have Experience Working With Pediatric Patients, Preferably In An Ophthalmology Setting. This Will Ensure That They Are Comfortable And Competent In Providing Care To Children Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
