  1. Develop and lead the Master of Health Administration program at MUSC Health, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of education and prepares students for successful careers in healthcare.
  2. Oversee the curriculum and course development for the program, ensuring that it is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
  3. Recruit, hire, and mentor faculty members for the program, providing guidance and support for their teaching, research, and professional development.
  4. Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment for students, promoting diversity and cultural competence in all aspects of the program.
  5. Serve as a role model for students and faculty, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning.
  6. Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations and industry leaders, providing opportunities for students to gain practical experience and networking opportunities.
  7. Conduct research in the field of health administration and publish findings in reputable journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the industry.
  8. Actively participate in professional organizations and conferences, representing MUSC Health and promoting the program to a wider audience.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and divisions within MUSC Health to promote interdisciplinary learning and research opportunities.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate them into the program as needed.
  11. Manage the budget for the program, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support its growth and success.
  12. Evaluate the program's performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
  13. Serve as an advocate for the program and MUSC Health, promoting its values and mission to the wider community.
  14. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them achieve their academic and professional goals.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or senior leadership, contributing to the overall success of MUSC Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Health Administration, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Organization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Team Management And Collaboration.
