- Conduct high-quality clinical research studies and projects
- Develop and implement innovative patient care practices based on evidence-based research
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and researchers to advance knowledge and understanding in the field
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students and residents in their research endeavors
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
- Participate in grant writing and securing funding for research projects
- Maintain a strong clinical practice, providing high-quality care to patients

Doctoral Degree: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Have A Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Or A Related Discipline.
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have Substantial Experience In Clinical Practice, Preferably In A Clinical Setting Similar To Musc Health. This Experience Should Demonstrate Expertise In Patient Care And The Ability To Integrate Research Into Clinical Practice.
Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strong Background In Research, With A Track Record Of Successful Grants And Publications. They Should Also Have Experience Conducting Research In A Clinical Environment.
Leadership Skills: This Position Requires A Candidate Who Can Provide Leadership In Both Clinical And Research Settings. The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading Multidisciplinary Teams And Collaborating With Colleagues From Various Disciplines.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: Musc Health Values Collaboration And Teamwork. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively With Other Faculty Members, Students, And Staff. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Complex Research Findings To A Non-Technical Audience.
